Patio and Driveway Cleaning Broxbourne
This lovely property in Broxbourne required its large patio, side pathway, and driveway cleaning. The patio was made from mixed-size Cotswold stone paving that had several years of dirt and algae growth on it. These Cotswolds paving stones have a natural multi-level surface which looks lovely when clean but does tend to hold the dirt. Jet washing after a thorough clean with my special patio cleaning solution, is the best way to get these paving stones looking good as new!
Then I tackled the sideway, which was a fairly easy clean of these large concrete pavers.
Finally, the beautiful driveway with its ornate circular pattern of grey block paving stones. This was quite a big job, as the natural circular pattern means larger gaps between the blocks for weeds to grow. The first job is to de-weed the driveway, then use cleaning solution to kill the algae and loosen the dirt. Then the fun power washing begins, bringing the driveway blocks back to their original colour. But the most important part of the job happens the following day – after leaving the driveway to dry naturally, the re-sanding is completed to keep the blocks firmly in place.
